Dragon Forum 2010 Regulations
- The pre-pitching preparation workshops and the projects pitching shall take place in places an on dates stated on the subpage SCHEDULE at www.dragonforum.pl.
- Dragon Forum is addressed to filmmakers who want to prepare and develop their projects for international documentary film co-production.There are no limits of age and the film-oriented education is not required.
- Candidates have to submit the appllication available on www.dragonforum.pl
- The training at the workshop for those whose projects have qualified for Dragon Forum 2009 is free of charge, with reservation of p.12.
- Fee for the participation in the pitching is 100 euro for one project.
- Fee for observation is 75 euro.
- The participants will by themselves cover their travel expenses and accommodation costs during their stay at the Dragon Forum. There are grants available, according to the rules described in the GRANTS.
- One project can be represented by maximum 3 people (scriptwriter, director, producer). English will the official language of workshops.
- The director will qualify participants solely with the the recommendation of Selection Committee, on the grounds of the received application forms along with the required attachments. The decision made by the director is definite and it is not possible to appeal.
- The participants who complete the Dragon Forum workshop will receive a diploma certifying its completion. The best projects will be awarded: the Dragon Forum Award (further support for the project) and other awards depending on gainig the sponsors.
- The participant is obliged to place information in the final credits of the documentary film realized upon the project presented at the Dragon Forum, that ‘The film was realized in cooperation with the Dragon Forum.’ and a logo of the Dragon Forum (available at www.dragonforum.pl). The participant will provide the DVD with the realized film to the Office of Dragon Forum before its broadcasting.
- In the case of the realization of the film the participant will repay to the Organizer the costs of the training in the amount according to the terms of the Agreement with the participant and depending on the film budget. The estimated amount of reimbursement equals 1000 euro for the projects participating in the workshops and the 30% of this amount for the projects participating only in the pitching session of Dragon Forum. The organizer will use these funds for the covering of the Dragon Forum costs.
- Sending an application for participation in the Dragon Forum means that the applicant agrees that the Dragon Forum organizers have right to process and exploit his or her personal data, image and information on a given project for the purposes connected with the Dragon Forum workshops and the pitching.
- Additionally, all the filmmakers from the former Soviet Union countries are invited to take part in a special workshop in Kiev, during the DocuDays International Film Festival at the end of March, 2010.The regulations for participants is published seperately.
- The organizers reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions regarding the Dragon Forum, should a necessity occur. Possible changes will be announced at www.dragonforum.pl.
