Dragon Forum in Kiev

(2007-04-10)

The 4th International Documentary Film Workshop in Kiev in cooperation with the Dragon Forum took place on April 4 – 6, 2007, during the 4th human rights film festival UKRAINIAN CONTEXT. The workshop was focused on the development of the script and production premises of the documentary projects. Tutors were: Marcel Łoziński, Katarzyna Maciejko-Kowalczyk, Dorota Roszkowska and Svitlana Zinov’yeva.

During the workshops the participants were discussing together all projects, its form and message and also the production and financing premises according to the standards of the European market. They were also preparing a presentation for an international audience. Some of the participants will take place in the Dragon Forum pitching during the Krakow Film Festival 31.05 – 3.06.2007.

The workshop was organized by Ukrainian Documentary Film Center and Magika Films from Ukraine and Arkana Studio from Poland. The partners were: European Documentary Film Network, Polish Institute in Kiev, Central European Initiative in Trieste, International Visegrad Fund in Bratislava, Discovery Channel and Association of Polish Filmmakers.
